World Sailing Youth World – Lake Garda
The World Sailing Youth World Championship has just concluded for the 418 sailors competing across six classes. Seventy countries were represented on the waters of Lake Garda, and as per the format, only one male and one female athlete could compete in each class.
In the ILCA 6 categories, nine races were completed over five days of competition. Among the boys, Noah Garcia from the Yacht Club de Monaco secured 22nd place, highlighted by an impressive 3rd-place finish in one race. Among the girls, Louise De Beaumont, also from the Y.C.M., finished 43rd, with two 10th-place finishes to her name.
Most competitors are already looking ahead to 2025, when the next edition of this prestigious international event will take place in Vilamoura, Portugal.
