A great start for Malizia-Seaexplorer of Team Malizia founded by Yacht Club de Monaco Vice-President Pierre Casiraghi. The monohull was on the start this afternoon at Boulogne-sur-Mer for the first Course des Caps (Banque Populaire du Nord Boulogne-sur-Mer Cape Race).

Yacht Club de Monaco member Stefano Roberti put in a fine performance on Lake Garda. It was the first J/70 Mixed-Plus World Championship and a solid, consistent performance earned him 4th in the Corinthian (amateur) category.

Gold group for Jérémy Moutout

The Kiel Olympic Week has just concluded for the ILCA 7 category. Held every year, this international event has become an institution in the sailing world and the 131st edition again pulled in elite sailors from over 60 nations in impressive numbers for each class, be they ILCA, iQFOiL or 49ers.
Lessons and progress continue

Yacht Club de Monaco’s young sailors continue to learn and progress on the international scene. From 19-21 June several from the Sports Section were competing in the 50th Trofeo Optimist d’Argento in Torbole on Lake Garda in Italy. A major regatta on the Optimist circuit this year it attracted 129 contestants from all over Europe.
