YC Monaco

la belle classe superyachts

Encouraging innovation & supporting the development of yachting

Launched in 2008

Dedicated to superyacht owners (over 40m) and industry professionals.

A homeport and preferred destination for owners and their superyachts, home to many design studios and major brokers, the Principality of Monaco has always been an essential stop in the ever-evolving yachting sector.

Bringing together the largest private yachts in the world under its flag, the Yacht Club holds a unique position in the world of international luxury yachting.

In continuation of the actions carried out by ‘La Belle Classe Tradition,’ H.S.H. Prince Albert II wished to expand the scope of ‘La Belle Classe’ to include Large Yachting by launching ‘La Belle Classe Superyachts’ in June 2008, a label aimed at uniting all players in the yachting industry.

Its objective: architectural innovation (as technological research is an ongoing endeavor to evolve yachting), the preservation of the sea and the environment (responsible and environmental attitude, use of innovative or existing techniques…), and the respect for naval etiquette (crew and owner attire, rules of courtesy and solidarity among ‘La Belle Classe’ members).

With ‘La Belle Classe Superyachts,’ the Yacht Club de Monaco intends to welcome, support, raise awareness, and potentially train superyacht owners (over 40 meters) in maritime culture and encourage professionals to adopt an environmentally respectful philosophy.
