Founded in 2019, the Pink Wave are a group of regatta boats from Y.C.M., of all levels who meet to navigate on different media including the J/70.  ).  They regularly participate in the adult sailing training offered by the club, including the Omega sessions and the J/70 Women Only programs. In addition, they train and participate in regattas on historic units such as Tuiga the flagship of Y.C.M., as well as on Argynnes III a 12.8-metre cutter, recently acquired by the Club.

PinkWaves represent the Y.C.M. at such renowned events as:

  • Helga Cup in Hamburg, Germany: the world’s largest women’s regatta organized by the Norddeutscher Regatta Verein.
  • Les Monaco Sportboat Winter Series
  • The UBS Primo Cup-Trophy
  • The Ladies of Saint-Tropez
  • The Lady Liberty regatta at the Manhattan Yacht Club.

PinkWave are also present on the circuit of Mediterranean classic regattas with mixed crews, participating in prestigious events such as Les Voiles d’Antibes, Les Voiles de Saint-Tropez, as well as other renowned regattas like the Palermo-Monte Carlo and the Grimaldi Trophy. In parallel to their involvement at sea, PinkWaves are essential figures of the social events of the Club.

These passionate women are convinced of the importance of supporting women in sport. They have close ties with regattas from all over the world, motivated by the desire to share their passion with as many people as possible.

Y.C.M. regaties who share their desire to sail.
This second edition brought together nearly 90 regatta
20 crews representing 13 nations.
