Membership of the Yacht Club de Monaco is first and foremost a deep and thoughtful commitment. It is a willingness to become actively involved in the preservation and promotion of rigorous ethics, both on land and at sea. Club members are expected to respect the traditions and standards of naval etiquette, ensuring harmonious and respectful interactions between yachting enthusiasts.
Day wear
Before 8.00 p.m.
Navy blue double-breasted or straight jacket, top pocket adorned with the Y.C.M. crest.
The blazer has a number of uses:
Under no circumstances should a pocket be worn with a club crest.
Buttons should be black or navy blue, if possible with the YCM coat of arms / Gold or silver buttons are reserved for officers
Light blue shirt / Day tie embossed with the Y.C.M. coat of arms.
Evening wear
After 8.00 p.m.
Navy blue double-breasted or straight jacket, top pocket decorated with Yacht Club crest.
White shirt Evening tie with pin stamped with the YCM coat of arms (according to the label, it must be positioned less than 10 centimetres from the tie knot).
October 1 to April 30: Gray skirt (ladies) or gray pants (gentlemen, ladies)
May 1 to September 30: White skirt (ladies) or white pants (gentlemen, ladies)
