Dedicated to young people aged 7 to 15, this true “School of Life” welcomes all children from the Principality.
The YCM Sports Section introduces 5-6 year-olds to the marine world through fun and educational workshops.
During the school holidays, the Seadventure Camps offer sports-filled weeks on, in, and under the water, with camaraderie at the heart of the activities. Open to children aged 6 to 17, these camps encourage sailing (on Bug and/or Topper) and develop basic maritime and sports skills. In a playful manner, they provide a better understanding of the nautical environment and raise awareness about the essential preservation of the marine ecosystem.
Children come to sail every Wednesday as part of the sailing school
Dedicated to young people aged 7 to 15, this true “School of Life” welcomes all children from the Principality and serves as a breeding ground for racers, where owners come to recruit their crews. It is here that the transmission of knowledge takes place, one of the values the entire Yacht Club team holds dear, bringing generations together.
In collaboration with the National Education system, students have access to sailing lessons in the form of 6 to 10-week sessions, between September and June. This allows older students to choose “Sailing” as an option for their high school diploma in the Principality.
As a result, nearly 80 classes, or over 2,000 students, discover the sea and sailing throughout the year.
Eager to raise awareness of the marine world among younger children, the Y.C.M. Sports Section organizes sessions for 5 to 6-year-olds.
Through educational and fun workshops, the various activities offered will spark the curiosity of the little ones and introduce them to the treasures of the marine environment.
