Today, we are witnessing the emergence of new yachting destinations around the world, with the creation of marinas, an undeniable element of attractiveness and a source of economic and tourism spin-offs and jobs. Through this event, organized by M3 and supported by the Prince Albert II of Monaco Foundation, Extended Monaco, the government’s digital transition program, which aims to present the latest innovations to encourage the construction and development of virtuous marinas, the Y.C.M. intends to continue its tradition of technological progress. Smart” technology is used to help develop environmentally-friendly marinas. This networking event brings together the entire ecosystem to provide concrete solutions for creating virtuous marinas. Entrepreneurs, industrialists, investors, marina operators and promoters, architects… more than 250 professionals from all over the world will be on hand to discover the latest innovative solutions and how they can be put into practice at round tables, and to exchange views on sustainable tourism at conferences.
Promoting sustainable solutions and new technologies for the yachting industry, particularly for yachts over 24 meters, is the central objective of the Monaco Smart Yacht Rendezvous. Held at the prestigious Yacht Club de Monaco, this event, supported by the Prince Albert II of Monaco Foundation and major partners such as UBS, Sindalah, the MB92 Group shipyard and Wider Yachts, is positioned as a genuine communication and networking platform for the entire yachting ecosystem.
The Monaco Smart Yacht Rendezvous brings together shipyards, designers and innovation players, with the mission of promoting the energy transition and encouraging the adoption of responsible solutions in the sector. This year, 40 start-ups and scale-ups were rigorously selected from 350 applications, following 149 remote interviews. Over two days, round tables and conferences provide a forum for exchange and reflection, culminating in the presentation of the Smart Innovative Yacht Awards, which recognize the most innovative and promising solutions for the future of yachting.
