Whether they’re experienced sailors, able-bodied or disabled, they all come together on Monaco’s waters for the Navicap Challenge – Trophée Elena Sivoldaeva organized by the Yacht Club de Monaco. This event provides specially adapted boats, enabling everyone to compete, whatever their physical challenges. Through this project, the YCM demonstrates that sailing is a universal sport, capable of bringing together people from all walks of life, while underlining the importance of accessibility and equal opportunities in the world of yachting.
Young, experienced, able-bodied or disabled, all profiles are represented on this event, which aims to offer an ideal regatta setting where exchange is the order of the day.
For three days, racers compete in pools aboard the Hansa 303. In teams of two, racers find themselves on an equal footing thanks to this boat adapted to the practice of sailing for all.
