Saint Peter, patron saint of fishermen, is celebrated every year on this summer day, organized by the Y.C.M. in collaboration with all Monegasque institutions (Monaco Town Hall, Société Nautique de Monaco, Association des Pontons de Monaco, Prince Albert II of Monaco Foundation, Oceanographic Museum, Monaco Underwater Exploration Club, Association Monégasque de la Protection de la Nature…).
Port Hercule will once again be celebrating the Fête de la Mer, with a large parade at sea. Sailing, motoring, rowing (…), all craft are welcome to take part.
Sailing, motoring, rowing… more than thirty units gathered in the Monegasque bay. After a blessing at sea in tribute to the departed sailors, celebrated by Monsignor René Giuliano, the entire fleet left the Oceanographic Museum to begin a unique parade led by Argynne III.
During the Fête de la Mer, a variety of exciting nautical activities are on offer for all ages.
