Becoming a member of the Yacht Club de Monaco is, above all, a commitment. It is a dedication to upholding a certain code of ethics both on land and at sea, ensuring respect for naval etiquette and environmental preservation. The philosophy of the Yacht Club de Monaco is based on the need to sustain and pass down a heritage inherited from our ancestors, so that the Yacht Club remains a place of life and exchange for future generations.
The Golden Rules
Adhere to the values of the Yacht Club de Monaco, its rules and respect naval etiquette
Promote the Yacht Club and the Principality of Monaco on all occasions,
Take an active part in the Club's sporting and social life,
Wear the Y.C.M. outfit during all official Club events or when outside
Fly the Y.C.M. flag at all times, identify its membership on the transom of its yacht and display the Y.C.M. handlebar,
Identify your membership of the Y.C.M. during regattas and wear a MON number in the mainsail (obtain the number from Member Services),
Introduce yourself to other yachts flying the Y.C.M. flag each time you arrive in a foreign port/at anchor,
Passing on the values of the Y.C.M. to young people,
Sponsor and support young members of the Y.C.M. and its Sports Section,
Invite other members to share your passion for yachting.
