As it does every year, YCM has joined forces with Sir Ernst. For the third edition of this cruise on the Sir Ernst, organised for the association À Chacun Son Cap, a dozen young people in remission from cancer have embarked on a unique sailing experience between the Var coast and Monaco.

Yacht Club de Monaco’s ILCA team were on form at Les Sablettes. At the fourth qualifier event for the French Championship, held 4-5 April, the young Monegasque sailors rose to the occasion in varied conditions alternating between light and moderate breezes.

Yacht Club de Monaco excelled at the Marseille SNIM. For this 60th edition held 3-6 April, the Monegasque sailors were competing on the Paris Olympic venue that lived up to its reputation. The result was a masterly victory in IRC 2 for Terrible Joy and 2nd place in IRC 0-1 for Raving Swan at the end of a full-on weekend where nothing came easy.

YCM’s inclusive sailing programme continues to gain momentum and grow with a strong presence at the Hansa North Cup in Berck 4-6 April. At a venue the participants know well, in a crowded fleet of 52 entrants, the Monegasque representatives rose to the occasion, demonstrating the group’s progress and cohesion.

YCM returns to D1 to reach another milestone

In the Optimist class, YCM returned to D1. A significant step achieved in the final selection regattas, which means Pietro Carlevaris and Joséphine Dobbelaere have secured their places in the Minimes (older group) for the International Spring Cup.

Yacht Club de Monaco was represented at Portals at the Yanmar Dragon Gold Cup 2026, a major regatta on the international Dragon circuit. Several YCM members were on the start in a fleet of 65 contestants and 16 nationalities.

The 30th Captains’ Forum, organised by Yacht Club de Monaco in collaboration with Oceanco, MB92 Group, Jutheau Husson, ICON Yachts, is now established as a yearly focal point for the international yachting community. After a morning focused on professionals experience, the afternoon sessions centred on applicable solutions.

As part of the inaugural Monaco, Capital of Advanced Yachting Rendezvous, the Yacht Club de Monaco held its 30th Captains’ Forum in collaboration with Oceanco, MB92 Group, Jutheau Husson and ICON Yachts, a gathering that is now established as a focal point for the international yachting community. Organised every year under the aegis of the Captains’ Club this year it brought together captains, owners, engineers, scientists and manufacturers. Entitled ‘How to follow heroes: the intersection of science, yachting and exploration’ the objective was to focus on tangible solutions. Divided into two parts the morning sessions highlighted professionals experience.
